Jacqueline Hennard

Hearing Officer, Title IX and Civil Rights Investigator

Jackie Hennard is a Senior Solutions Specialist at Grand River Solutions. She previously served as the Associate Director and Lead Investigator for the Office for Access and Equity at the University of Chicago. In her previous role, Jackie conducted Title IX investigations as well as investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation involving students and staff with a focus on matters involving faculty. She led trainings for students, faculty, staff, and hearing panels on these topics. Jackie has extensive experience conducting workplace investigations and is a certified mediator.

Prior to her work in higher education, Jackie conducted investigations for the City of Chicago. As an Equal Employment Opportunity Investigator, she conducted investigations into allegations of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, retaliation, and violence in the workplace. She also worked as a Major Case Specialist for the City of Chicago’s Civilian Office of Police Accountability, conducting investigations involving members of the Chicago Police Department in cases involving death or serious bodily injury as well as high profile matters of alleged police misconduct.

Jackie received her Juris Doctorate from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Michigan State University.
