Amber Morgan

Title IX & Civil Rights Investigator

Amber Morgan is a Title IX & Civil Rights Investigator at Grand River Solutions. She previously served as the Title IX/ADA Coordinator for seven years at Transylvania University, overseeing ADA compliance, the university’s Equal Opportunity policy, investigation, and adjudication processes. Amber prepared and led annual training sessions for students, faculty, staff, investigators; she also led hearing panels on these topics. In addition to these responsibilities, Amber worked for several years overseeing the Transylvania University Accessibility Services Office, providing direct support to students with disabilities and guidance to faculty for best practices in the higher education classroom setting. While working full-time at Transylvania University, Amber also worked independently serving as an investigator and a decision maker for other higher education institutions in Central Kentucky.

Prior to her work in higher education, Amber worked as a K-12 educator in both the public and private sectors. Amber served as a general classroom teacher, specific area resource teacher, and director of student support services for elementary and middle school students.

Amber has a Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina, with an emphasis on equity and policy writing, and a Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University. Amber currently resides in her home state of Kentucky with her family.
