This 2-hour interactive training provides a comprehensive overview of the procedural and regulatory requirements for conducting an emergency removal under Title IX. Participants will learn when and how emergency removals may be used, with a focus on conducting individualized safety and risk assessments. We will share best practices on implementing clear policy language, utilizing campus partners, and collaborating with key stakeholders when determining whether an emergency removal of a student is warranted. 

Through practical guidance and real-world scenarios, participants will learn how to navigate the complexities of emergency removals while balancing the safety and well-being of the campus community. By the end of the training, attendees will be equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to make informed decisions, and whether and how to implement an emergency removal for high-risk Title IX cases.
